About Stiglmeier

Stiglmeier knowing that Anton Stigmeer was an apprentice who grew up in Munich and has mastered the secrets of making sausages. Meanwhile, his future wife, Gertrude, is learning how to sell sausages in the small town of Garmisch in the Bavarian Alps. When they immigrated to Chicago in the 1950s, they brought all the flavors and traditions of their hometown of Bavaria, a place known for Oktoberfest, beer and sausages. Stiglmeier Knowing that it is based on these traditions and their traditional family values that they founded the Sausage Company in 1960. Together with their children John and Elizabeth, their family has been making authentic German sausages ever since.
