In Billings, Montana, Steepworld climbing & Fitness is a locally owned and operated indoor facility. They adore sharing their passion for climbing and fitness with their community. Jim Rott made his first technical roped climb of Devils Tower and the Needles of South Dakota near his home in the spring of 1986. His life was forever altered by these events. Education and vocation training helped people get closer to the end goal of more climbing. In 2005, Steepworld, a climbing gym and retail store in Billings, Montana, was born of his passion for climbing in all its forms. He was able to develop his abilities and talents thanks to his dedication to his chosen career as the owner and operator of a climbing gym. He has introduced hundreds of young and old athletes, both seasoned and aspiring, to the climbing lifestyle.
