About Sodus Bay Lighthouse
The Sodus Bay Lighthouse verifiable Society was established in 1972. The mission of the Society is to gather, protect, and display records, works, verifiable things, and relics; to save and spread data in the field of history associated with their sound region; to serve the instructive and social requirements of their cove region; to help the conservation of memorable designs, destinations, and landmarks; to keep an exhibition hall in the noteworthy beacon, with an accentuation on nearby sea history. The Society has worked the Sodus Bay Lighthouse beacon as a historical center since July 4, 1985, so 2021 imprints the Society's 49th year and the Lighthouse Museum's 37th season.
