Silk Plants Direct has been importing, manufacturing, designing and installing silk plants and trees since the 1980s through their parent company, a leading national landscaping company. After companies started looking at live plants and trees, they found that many customers found them difficult to maintain and, in some cases, expensive. So they had the opportunity to solve these problems for their customers, and they started their silk plant and tree division. Today, Silk Plants Direct have grown into one of the world's most famous producers of silk plants and trees. Their designs and projects have won numerous industry awards. They were fortunate enough to meet the needs of silk factories in hospitals, office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, restaurants and other facilities.
