About Shindig Magazine
Shindig Magazine is a music publication composed of genuine knowledge, sincerity, and unwavering faith. They bring to a larger audience the breadth and depth of old fanzines and specialist rock publications. Shindig Magazine began as a photocopied garage-punk fanzine in 1992 with the name Gravedigger. After editing for a few years, they rewrote the title as a nod to the ABC show that brought the British invasion to America and set the stage for folk-rock, garage music, and everything else that came after. Since then, the magazine has developed into the multi-tentacled monster it is today. After a lengthy and ultimately destructive partnership with volcano publishing that saw the magazine distributed worldwide on high streets.
