About Shepherd Minatures
Shepherd Minatures started as a small, one-person operation in 1992 that traded bought-in dolls house miniatures. However, as soon as they realized how many things simply did not exist, they decided, "hey, they make them themselves." Shepherd Minatures quickly increased their collection of handmade miniatures from a small handful to over 2000 handcrafted and one-of-a-kind dolls house items thanks to the years of model making experience of several family members, including a carpenter, seamstress, and product model maker. They are now one of the UK's leading manufacturers of handmade dolls house miniatures, as many of their devoted customers are aware. Miniature in Birmingham, Kensington Dollhouse Festival, and the City of London Dolls House Festival are just a few of the notable miniature and dolls house shows in the country where they exhibit. They used to travel across the country weekly, starting in Exeter in the south and ending in Glasgow in the north.
