About Scrapbooking
Scrapbooking is a way of preserving, presenting, and organizing personal and family history in the form of a book, box, or card. Typical souvenirs include photographs, print media and artwork. It is often decorated and often contains a large log or written description. Scrapbooks began in England in the 19th century. In the past, Scrapbooking tended to place photos in the corner of a montage, perhaps noting who, where and when they were taken. It usually includes some souvenirs, such as newspaper clippings, letters and so on. Its early famous author and inventor was Mark Twain. Twain carried a scrapbook with him on his travels, collecting mementoes, newspaper clippings and photographs.
