The founder of Running Stitch Quilts is a mother of one child and two dogs who works from home. They work as an athletic trainer during the day and quilt at night. They like to make the most of the time they have because they don't have a lot of free time to devote to sewing. In 2014, they made their first Running Stitch Quilts. It was a wall-mounted American flag. To make the quilt more accurately sized. They added some length because they didn't like the pattern's proportions. It's funny to think that when they made their first quilt, they was already playing around with the pattern to make it work for them. They would edit or modify each pattern they followed since that initial one. They soon began creating their quilt designs. They enjoy the challenge of translating their mental images into the fabric.
