About Rangsutra
Rangsutra is a business that sells handmade goods and is run by more than 2,000 artisans who live and work in small towns and villages all over India, mostly in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Kashmir, and Manipur. Their journey began in 2006 with the intention of providing highly skilled rural artisans with market connections in order to establish long-term livelihoods. This vision continues to exist today. By serving as a link between markets and artisans, change and continuity, tradition and modernity, and inclusive growth, they continue to do so. Rangsutra Producers and decision-makers who actively participate in the supply chain makeup artisan shareholders. Each product they produce adheres to a fair trade process that enables their artisans to thrive in their working environments by providing equal pay, fair wages, a safe working environment, and skills training. This is done in accordance with their guiding principle of respect for all parties, the producer, the shareholder, and the customer.
