About Rainbows
Rainbows is committed to all children to be the primary source of support for all young people, as they navigate through grief and heal from loss. It cultivates the awareness that young people need support to heal. Rainbows has cultivated a community of effective facilitators trained in rainbows and has a resource bank designed to guide young people’s grief process. For example, they provided The Colors of Life by Michelle Vale. The purpose of this book is to provide optimism and assurance to divorced children, so that they will no longer face the loneliness that has become a part of family life. "The Color of Life" was written by Michelle Weir. She got a master's degree in psychological counseling. At the age of 6, her parents divorced. "The Color of Life" provides children with powerful information to help them get through Difficulties and confusion in life. Taking the different children of divorced parents as an example, these images help identify how the children feel.
