The next thing you know, Q turned on three months later. Three months later, the editor of charlotte magazine named them best barbecue at the annual BOB awards. In addition to creating award-winning barbecue facilities, other important reasons to open include creating jobs to promote the local economy and support the charities they believe in. Queen City Q are proud to employ more than 50 employees and feel they have a responsibility to give back to the community through Metrolina's Second Harvest food bank, sharing their strength for the taste of the country and many other great charities to organize community events. As a partner of the charlotte knights, charlotte checkers and charlotte hounds, they are also proud of the company they maintain.
