He and his sister love dogs. When Pet Feedster was in elementary school, their parents finally said "yes" to their first pet. Pet Feedster loves their new dog, Micky, but as first-time pet owners (also 7), they sometimes forget to feed her, so the burden of care falls largely on their father. Due to his parents' busy schedules, his father decided to buy an automatic pet feeder to help take responsibility. Ok. . . The feeder got stuck and they tried another brand. It's stuck, too. And then another one. So his father took advantage of his mechanical engineering background and began tinkering in the garage. Throughout middle and high school, his new mission/hobby was to test new auger, spindle and prototype designs. Eventually, he developed an automatic pet feeder that worked just fine.
