Palmer Pletsch was made by Patti Palmer and Susan Letch in 1974 to independently publish their books. Both were showing sewing and had recently finished their first book, Sewing Ultra suede Fabric. Together they composed more books and planned sewing designs. They were the first to attest that sewing could be fun, quick and simple, an expression they authored in the mid '70s. Susan left the business in 1984 to seek after different tasks. Palmer Pletsch currently distributes sewing, home adorning, picture, and art books by other gifted sewing, picture, and home embellishing educators; makes recordings regarding those matters; offers sewing workshops and imports or circulates a select gathering of sewing-related items.
