About Old Brick Inn
Old Brick Inn in historic St. Michaels, Maryland, mixes old-world charm with modern amenities. Old Brick Inn twenty exquisitely decorated rooms are spread over three different structures in the center of St. Michaels. Large fluffy towels, complimentary WiFi, free parking, and private bathrooms with many having Jacuzzi tubs or double showers are provided in every room. Their on-site restaurant, Café 401, serves dinner and features dishes created by classically trained chef Michael Greenwood. To ensure the safety of their visitors, their cleaning staff at their inn carefully adheres to CDC rules. Wrightson Jones, a shipbuilder, and his wife Elizabeth built the Wrightson Jones House in 1816 on land they had acquired from Samuel Tennant for $250. The Williams House, the inn's previous name, was described as offering "entertainment for man or beast" in 1877's The St. Michaels Comet. Before being transformed back into an inn, the structure afterwards housed the St. Michaels Bank for a while.
