Along a country lane, Nissley Wine's stone arch winery is located near an 18th-century mill and a winding creek, surrounded by well-tended vines and sun-dappled meadows. Nissley Wine located in 300 acres in the fertile Lancaster Valley wine-growing area in western Lancaster County, the area is known for its rich, well-drained limestone soil. They planted 14 varieties of grapes on 30 acres of carefully cared vines. If you visit in early June, you will smell the luscious fragrance of grape blossoms and the tender leaves stretched out. Throughout spring and summer, vineyard staff are busy tying growing grapes to their trees and removing unwanted grape clusters. With the cooperation of Mother Nature, the first batch of plump and juicy grapes will be harvested in early September.
