About Netting Pros
Netting Pros is no different from his grandfather William "Pop" Burbank, who started making nets by hand 100 years ago. His ability to netting is the result of a lifetime of experience and a family tradition of hand-made custom netting. Johnny has contributed to the evolution of the netting industry over the years, beginning with shrimp trawls and moving on to sports nets. With the installation of UHMWPE fiber netting at hundreds of baseball and softball stadiums across the nation, Netting Pros ushered in a new era in the baseball backstop net industry. In the 1970s, the Burbank family used this fiber for the first time to make shrimp trawl nets that would help shrimp boats use less fuel. In the sport netting industry, Johnny Burbank's netting expertise and customization skills are unparalleled, as are Eli Rowe's design and inventive engineering skills.
