Founded in 1966 with the goal of ending a sense of isolation among ceramic artists and educators working with clay as a medium of artistic expression, NCECA has sought to create and sustain a network of camaraderie, knowledge, and information sharing. The past 18 months have been marked by many losses and hardships. Among these has been the absence of opportunity to safely gather in person. Like many others in the field, they have worked to develop and share innovative ways to connect and continue supporting one another through this challenging time.
