Musink is the creator of the free music symbol software which was written in very unusual situations. Here's how and why it happened. Cakeburger.com created a wonderful illustrated / cartoon version of this story. You can read it here. After finishing his master's degree in medicine at the University of Auckland, Musink took a year off — or should have a year off — as a medical writer. After months of work, he suffered from a pain disorder: one arm was painful, then the other. To the point where he can no longer work. Then things got worse. He saw many doctors, physiotherapists, neurologists, and other experts, but no one could diagnose or understand it.
