About MOPA
Based on the Kiyosato MOPA's "Young Portfolio" project, Beginnings, Forever represents the works of historic as well as emerging artists taht are made before they were the age of 35. Artists establish their distinct powers of expression and individuality at an early age. This exciting exhibition allows MOPA to explore those talents through images via influential classic artists, postwar Japanese photographers, along with contemporary image makers. Artists represented in the exhibition are include Edward Weston, Brassaï, Robert Frank, William Klein, Yousuf Karsh, Robert Capa, W. Eugene Smith, Lewis Hine, André Kertész, Irving Penn, Shomei Tomatsu, Eikoh Hosoe, Kikuji Kawada, Nobuyoshi Araki, Daido Moriyama, Keizo Kitajima, Ken Kitano, and contemporary photographers from all over the globe.
