February Countdown — 20% at Meyer Theatre

That was then on Valentine's Day, 1930 something exceptionally extraordinary occurred in the core of downtown Green Narrows. Following seven months of carefully difficult work Meyer Theatre held its function excellent opening. Individuals arranged for blocks to get a brief look at the shocking new million dollar theater, made as a vaudeville house and film castle. The stunning air was suggestive of the Spanish nurseries of Seville where Lord Ferdinand and Sovereign Isabella held court on summer nights. Star lights shimmered above through a roof painted to seem to be the sky with surging mists. It was the mid-west's most memorable openness to the magnificence of the Meyer Theatre Partnership, run by William Fox, whose name lives on through different media adventures, most eminently Fox Television station, Fox news Station, twentieth Century Fox and 21st Century Fox. Star entertainers like Liberace, Nat Ruler Cole, Louis Armstrong, Donald O'Conner, Roy Rogers (and his pony Trigger), Dale Evans, The Factories Siblings, Lawrence Welk, The Ocean side Young men and Johnny Money, just to give some examples, would elegance the stage consistently.
