About Louisville
Louisville first published it in 1950 for the book Mr. Businessman and Mrs. Housewife yikes, they really said that!. Louisville is now for all of them people who are as contradictory and complicated as their city. Beginning around 1993, the magazine has been freely claimed, in quest for a more genuine representation of them. They value writing that surprises, photography that you'd frame over your mantel, and reporting that emphasizes depth over speed. They want them where everyone feels seen, known, and needed, from Algonquin to Buechel, Clifton to downtown, the East End to Fern Creek, Germantown to Hikes Point they'll stop at the letter H, but you get the idea.
