About Leonardo's Massapequa
A piece of culture from a famous province in southern Italy, the founder's parents brought a piece of it. Barry came to this country in the early 1970s and founded Maffei Pizza in New York. Based on the cuisine of the Adriatic region plus their own preferences and hard work, Leonardo's Massapequa has created a family-like environment. They are proud to be an important member of that family business. Their pizzas were recognized by many industries and New York City publications and won the 2007 awards and soon became the main business of their company and the Chelsea area. Leonardo's Massapequa will inherit the tradition started nearly 40 years ago by providing high-quality products.
