Jonty McCool started Leisure Workshop in 2020. Jonty's love of design, crafting, and building products comes from the fact that his grandparents were both very mechanically inclined when he was a child. One was an engineer and pilot, the other was a farmer with a significant shed where he spent most of his time creating and building. Their energy for plan and interest in the mechanics of how things functioned drove Jonty on a pathway, gaining from them the approaches to dabbling in sheds and making things by hand to ultimately, numerous years after the fact, making Recreation Studio. Leisure Workshop was founded by Jonty in Wanaka, New Zealand. Recreation Studio takes motivation for its items from the encompassing central climate, and the clever leaning individuals that live inside it.
