In 1938, Master Craftsman Mr. Kwan Pen Seng created the Singapore-based Luxury Fashion House. KWANPEN is today a global luxury brand known for its Genuine Crocodile Leather goods, all of which are manufactured in Singapore by artisans trained by the Kwan family and renowned for their skill and precision. Once upon a time, Kwan rented a location with a number of other artisans, and under the alias Kwan Pen, he offered his wares and services to other enterprises. The originator of the brand currently known as KWANPEN was born in Hoiping (Kaiping), a small county city west of the Pearl River Delta in Guangdong Province, China. Family members urged Kwanpen to seek better conditions in the more temperate and fruitful Nanyang area, far away from the disturbance (Southeast Asia).
