About Knitting Aid
British designer David Hill invented Knitting Aid in 2007. David looked into novel ways to assist his grandmother, who had arthritis for a long time, and others like her. They came to the conclusion that knitting would have the greatest positive effect on her health. David first learned to knit. After that, he worked on more than 100 prototypes for over 1, 500 hours. In order to simulate the sensation of arthritis, he had to wear gloves and other equipment designed specifically for his tests. Hands down the best models came to testing with genuine knitters at nearby meet-ups. Knitting Aid was the end result. A lightweight, cushioned frame that holds your knitting needles and provides support and comfort.
