Kinderfeets® is the product of award-winning designer and Dutch Oscar V. Mulder. Cycling was a way of life growing up in the Netherlands, so Oscar wanted to share it with his then-two-year-old son Sebastiaan in San Francisco. Oscar was looking for the perfect push bike for Sebastiaan's needs, but could not find what he wanted. Oscar, the great-grandson and industrial designer of Dutch bicycle designers, personally challenged and created prototypes. As he and his son began cruising nearby, neighbors began asking questions about small push bikes and urged Oscar to launch the creative product as a formal business. Kinderfeets was born shortly. Inspired by traditional Dutch bicycles, the company is a gameplay for the Dutch word "kinderfiets", which is translated as "children's bicycles".
