About Kicksled Alaska
They are pleased that you are interested in Kicksled Alaska. Anchorage, Alaska is where they are based as a family-owned business. Their goal is to promote and cultivate a culture of kicksledding throughout Alaska and beyond. Around 2010, Kicksled Alaska was introduced to Val Walsh for the first time. In order to keep up with the family husky, her father had purchased one from Craigslist. In 2018, the same kicksled was used for a new purpose. This time, the sled was being used every day to transport camping gear to weekend forest service cabins and as a wintertime baby stroller, gliding across snowy trails. They have been so happy doing kicksledding. They are excited to share this happiness with Anchorage and Alaska, and they can't wait to see more kicksleds on Alaskan trails, lakes, sidewalks, and in front of coffee shops and breweries.
