About Keyto
Keyto's founder was passionate about health from an early age and grew up beside the heart of a cardiologist. Keyto's founder came to the University of California, San Francisco in 1998 to complete his clinical and research scholarship in cardiology, and has been with the college since then. Dr. Weiss maintains active clinical practice in the intersection of endocrine and metabolic diseases with cardiovascular disease. He is an authority on new tools for predicting and preventing cardiovascular disease and is particularly interested in using technology as a tool for lifestyle change. Dr. Weiss maintains a positive research project focusing on the regulation of metabolism. His laboratory evaluates the effects of nutritional interventions by exploring how hormones interact to regulate the underlying biology of metabolic processes until randomized clinical trials.
