About Kentuck
Kentuck was started in 1971 to celebrate the centenary of Beigang City and its ancient folklore. It has developed into a world-famous and nationally recognized art festival, attracting more than 10,000 visitors and generating 5.5 million visitors to the surrounding communities. The economic impact of the dollar and the two-day festival is rooted in folk art with more than 270 artists, live music, spoken language, children's activities, folk and contemporary craft demonstrations, food trucks and local craft brewing. Kentuck was recently named one of the top ten art festivals in Alabama in 2018 by the Alabama Department of Tourism and one of the "Best Art Festivals in Bama in 2018" by Alabama Magazine, The state has also published articles in Smithsonian Magazine, Southern Life Magazine, American Style Magazine, and National Geographic Traveler.
