About Kahn's Fine Wines
It has been a destination for wine lovers in central Indiana since Carroll Louise Kahn opened Kahn fine wines and spirits in 1979. Kahn's Fine Wines grew out of Louise's love for fine wine and her inability to find any locally. Tired of driving to Chicago to buy drinks, the founder of Kahn's Fine Wines persuaded her husband to open a fine wine shop. Kahn grew up and prospered under Carroll and Louise, until she suffered a decline in health in the late 1980s. At that time, Carroll invited Jim Arnold to join him as a partner. Jim eventually bought all Kahn's in the mid-1990s. Using the experience and knowledge he gained during his time at Cobrand, as well as his love of wine and spirits, Jim was able to take Kahn's wines to the next level. . . Added futures for Bordeaux and Burgundy and imported more than 1,000 Kahn labels.
