Joycoast is a company based in Chicago that makes wooden watches, sunglasses, rings, and other one-of-a-kind items that are inspired by nature. Reese O'Toole, the founder was simply not a watch guy. He tried a variety of watches, all of which added unnecessary weight and caused discomfort. Reese didn't realize that wood, one of the oldest materials, could be combined with modern technology to create a one of a kind, lightweight, and incredibly comfortable piece of wrist art until 2017. He started designing his first men's wooden watch collection. They were founded at this time. He soon discovered that he could make wooden sunglasses and other products from wood. Reese has been promoting wood as a sustainable alternative to traditional steel watches and harmful plastic sunglasses, and she still only wears accessories made of wood today. Joycoast has come a long way over the years, and the company now offers engraved wooden watches, which make wonderful presents.
