About Jon Kaase Racing Engines
By the end of the season, Jon Kaase had risen to prominence after beginning his professional engine-building career at the beginning of 1977. They had won the NHRA Pro Stock Championship working with Dyno Don Nicholson. From 1995 to 2006, the company won an additional 12 Mountain Motor Pro Stock Championships under the Jon Kaase Racing Engines banner. The company introduced a highly regarded big-block hot rod engine to their product line in the first decade of this century: their primary model, the Boss Nine. Additionally, Jon Kaase Racing Engines team used their expertise to win the Engine Masters Challenge six times. Kaase once said they was amazed by the amount of exposure they gained from those contests. The power or torque competition is held annually at the University of Northwestern Ohio and features 30 to 50 of the best engine builders in the country.
