Dreamcatcher Sailing, Howl Inbay Field, and Howl Downtown are all part of the same company. In 1998, business owners John and Mary Thiel established Wolfsong Adventures in Mushing, Dreamcatcher Sailing, and Wolfsong Wear, which later merged into Howl. Jen Dale, their long-time guide and captain, took over Wolfsong Adventures in Mushing when they opened Howl Inbay Field in 2018, and she continues her mushing adventures. In 2019, their nephew Matthew Gerdts became the brewmaster and owner of Adventure Club Brewing, which opened its doors at their Center. Matthew used to be the brewer at Madison, Wisconsin's One Barrel Brewing. Bayfield is where John and Mary and their family live.
