About Hashes
Hashes is a service for hash lookups. This lets you enter a hash such as MD5, SHA-1, Vbulletin, Invision Power Board, MyBB, Bcrypt, Wordpress, SHA-256, SHA-512, or MYSQL5 and search for the plaintext that corresponds to it in their database of Hashes that have already been cracked. It's like having your own huge cluster for cracking hashes, but you can see results right away. They have been building their information base since August 2007. They are not cracking your hash right now; rather, they are simply storing the labor of numerous cracking enthusiasts over time. Their function known as the MD5 message-digest algorithm has a value of 128 bits and is widely used. Despite the fact that MD5 was initially intended for use as a cryptographic hash function, numerous security flaws have been discovered. It can still be used to check the integrity of info as a checksum, but only for accidental corruption.
