He like how the game enables him to simultaneously unplug from the stresses of the outside world and re-connect with his social network. He saw among his friends a growing interest in taking up golf, but many lacked access to used equipment, the desire to spend money on new clubs, or the expertise necessary to begin playing this challenging sport. GolfRoots was born out of a pastime that involved gathering and selling old clubs for friends and neighbors.
