About Glass Color
Glassblower Phil O'Reilly started Glass Color in 1987 from his garage in Bellevue, Washington. The business grew quickly and moved to Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood in the early 1990s, where it continued to serve the growing glassblowing community by providing a service that was desperately needed. They upgraded in May 2018 to a larger warehouse with a view of the ship canal near the Ballard neighborhood. Glass Color is now one of North America's largest suppliers of glassblowing color and tools, despite having fewer than 20 employees. The majority of the staff has been with them for more than ten years, and some have been there for more than twenty, and they continue to be dedicated to providing the warm, individualized, and knowledgeable service that has become synonymous with the brand. They are proud of their relationship with the glassblowing community and continues to give to schools, programs, and conferences to help it grow.
