About Gingko Press
Gingko Press is set up in 1985 in Hamburg, Germany. In 1991 they are dispatched in Santa Rosa, California at the workplaces and distribution center of John Martin Black Sparrow Press. They moved to new central command in Corte Madera, California in 1994, appropriating Taschen America to the book exchange, and started tolerating unique compositions for distribution in 1998. In 2009 they moved to their present office in Berkeley, California. In 1999 Gingko Press bought world freedoms to dissenter teacher, media pioneer and creator Marshall McLuhan. McLuhan compositions on culture and innovation have given them another worldview for getting history, through their apparatuses and developments, refined in their well known expression the medium is the message.
