About Forager Cycles
On ancestral S'klallam land, between the Salish Sea and the Olympic Mountains in Washington, Forager Cycles is a small bicycle and component business. Dan Stranahan, the founder of this company, grew up on The Peninsula and has relocated numerous times, but he has always returned grateful to call Port Townsend, Washington, his home. For a long time, Dan has been tinkering with the things that make him happy. Forager Cycles is a way to turn that tinkering into designs that can help you get closer to your ideal bicycle experience. They are a part of a long-standing community of artists, boatbuilders, farmers, and others. And have a stake in both their local organism and the world's cyclical ecosystem. Their creative process is fueled by their connection to a diverse group of makers: To make products that last, they use a variety of manufacturing skills if they can't make them themselves.
