Factory Connection was founded by mike Andrews in 1988. Mike was a racing mechanic and suspension mechanic in kawasaki in the 1980s. During his time at kawasaki, he won several championships with Jeff Ward and made a rotating wrench for Ron Lechien. The relationship to kawasaki and KYB is where the name comes from. Factory Connection logo was hand-painted by David bailey in pencil on a napkin! From 1989 to 1994, rigg took over the company. In 1989, mike ran a factory in Rutland, vermont, and worked as a mechanic for Bob Hanna at the suzuki company. Bob used the factory link impact that year, and many of his teammates used the mike and factory built suspension for a few games that year. In 1992, mike's old friends Steve simmons and Paul Turner asked him to head the R&D department of the rock shop.
