About Episcopal Bookstore
Episcopal Bookstore was founded in 1918 as Church Hymnal Corporation, a non-profit organization of Church Pension Group. Today, CPI's 14 professionals produce about 50 new books and resources each year and manage a portfolio of more than 2,600 effective products, many of which are sold around the world. Episcopal Bookstore core publishing program revolves around The Common Prayer Book (The Hymnal 1982) and specialized books and resources dedicated to liturgy, faith formation, governance, living, and Anglican evangelism. Books of interest to believers, academics and especially to children, extend the influence of the CPI to the broader universal market and the church of England as a whole. Jesus movement (racial reconciliation, creating caring and evangelizing) and ways of love, as well as leadership, social justice, management and health (financial, spiritual, mental health) books, feature prominently in their catalog.
