In 1966, Bob Gault founded what would become the world's largest speaker manufacturing company after working as an engineer for Magnavox and CTS (Chicago telephone supply). Ironically, according to the AMPEQ Everett Hull commitment, Gault established Eminence, hope to maintain three 18-inch speakers every day. Under the leadership of Mr. Gott and his son, Rob, the company's daily processing capacity grew to more than 10,000 employees, employing more than 240 by 1997. Gault from company was set up to 1992 served as President of it. He officially retired in 1993 but continues to make valuable contributions to the company. Gott died on October 4, 2002. He is a husband, father and grandfather. Gott was also an avid golfer. His family, music, and Eminence community are very miss him.
