About El Nido Resorts
Taytay is 220 km northeast of Princess Port. To the north is El Nido Resorts, to the south San Vicente and Dumaran, to the east Taytay Bay and Sulu Sea, and to the west the South China Sea. El Nido Resorts is rich in history, culture and natural beauty. It is the largest municipality in the province and the capital of Palawan. It is home to the province's largest freshwater lake, Mangwa Lake, and the Malampaya Strait, known as the "Philippine fish tank". Taytay, which means' bridge 'in the local dialect, was established as a Spanish town in 1623. Taytay's colonial historical sites can still be found today, including a 17th century Spanish fort known as "Fuerza DE Santa Isabel" by the Romans.
