Every season, they will challenge themselves to present familiar favorites with new and imaginative new works and special plays that the audience can rarely experience in person. Edmonton Opera brings people together through a meaningful artistic experience and celebrates their common humanity. Outside the stage, the house is dedicated to providing easy-to-understand, exciting, and meaningful operas for their diverse communities. They provide free events and performances throughout the year, and often cooperate with other non-profit organizations and art organizations to attract new audiences. They also share the charm of opera with young people through their education programs, student rehearsals and 40-vote initiative.
