Their entrance into this world shows that their life was destined to be anything but typical. They graduated from Manual High School as a football star and continued their football career at Butler University in Indianapolis. Their parents, were both attorneys; their mother was the first woman to pass the bar in Allen County, Indiana, their father was a Supreme Court Justice for the State of Indiana. Ed Martin Acura purchased their first automobile with money they earned from delivering groceries and selling ice in their neighborhood.
