Ecojot is 100% recycled after consumption - completely by the award-winning Cascades in Quebec, Canada the old waste paper made in the factory. All of their ink and glue are plant-based, and all of their black and kraft boards come from sustainable suppliers in North America. In 2012, it was awarded "the ancient forest friendly award" by the Canopy. Over the years it through "buy one get one free" activity to the children in need donated thousands of books.
