About Dukes Mayonaise
It was at Camp Sevier in 1917 that the Dukes Mayonaise heritage started. Eugenia Duke of Greenville, SC, made sandwiches in their home kitchen to offer to armed force containers during WWI. Eugenia's sandwiches were so remarkably tasty that years after they'd left the camp, troopers kept in touch with Eugenia asking for their sandwich recipes and containers of her scrumptious spread. They started packaging it as an item all alone in 1923. Throughout the course of recent years, Dukes Mayonaise has proceeded to develop and praise its obligation to family recipes and strong, southern flavors. Notwithstanding the leader mayonnaise, which is as yet made by Eugenia's unique recipe in Greenville, SC, they offer light, olive oil, and enhanced mayonnaise, tartar sauce, sandwich relish and territorially enlivened their Southern Sauces, mustards, and dressings.
