She received the Minnesota Association of Orthodontic Achievement Award after graduating from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1994 at the top of her class. She subsequently started her orthodontic residency at the University of Minnesota, where she also obtained a Master of Science degree and a certificate in orthodontics. She has been running her own business, Dr Jennifer Eisenhuth Orthodontics, since 1996, and provides both orthodontic and Dr. Jen Natural dental care.
