About Derelict Robot
PEV Technology, eBike, and Open Source Electric Board company. Developers of the forthcoming OS FreeS Throwback video to when Derelict Robot began filming for the science fiction independent film eye on Juliet in the Moroccan desert for more than 30 days. They built three fully operational hexapod robots with a diameter of 1 meter and collaborated with the film's art team to create 3D-printed armor and aesthetics over the robots' frames. After that, they went to northern Africa for principal filming for a month, where they was tasked with puppeteering the robots in each scene they were in (which was a fair amount). This was a really fun project. This was definitely a return to form for them as a film nerd and a child who was influenced by sci-fi robots. Derelict Robot has been working with some of their wonderful FreeSK8 OSRR beta testers to hand model.
