About Cornish Tin
Tin is produced in the valley by Cornish Tin for more than 45 years. Before relocating to this location in 1974, Colin Wills began making their first tin concentrates from the sand at Trevellas Porth in the 1960s. Their tin ore is mined by the sea and cleaned by the pounding of the waves along the shore before being gathered along the lovely North Cornish Coastline. To properly gather the priceless produce, it is labored under a specific license from the Duchy of Cornwall using hand tools.
