Since opening in 1974, Brown County Inn has been a mainstay of Brown, Indiana's Scenic Resort. The 65,000-square-foot hotel, restaurant and bar became a meeting place for tourists and local families. They enjoy playing tennis and mini golf in the expansive yard, or swimming in the large indoor/outdoor pool. Over the years, Brown County Inn has hosted Indy 500 sponsors and country music personalities. A ballroom called "City Hall" was added in 1975 to become the venue for weddings, family reunions, business meetings, and the annual New Year's Eve party.
