Since opening in 1974, Brown County Inn has been a mainstay of Brown, Indiana's Scenic Resort. The 65,000-square-foot hotel, restaurant and bar became a meeting place for tourists and local families. They enjoy playing tennis and mini golf in the expansive yard, or swimming in the large indoor/outdoor pool. Over the years, Brown County Inn has hosted Indy 500 sponsors and country music personalities. A ballroom called "City Hall" was added in 1975 to become the venue for weddings, family reunions, business meetings, and the annual New Year's Eve party. Their goal is to make them a place for visiting families to spend quality time, for groups of people to enjoy meeting, and for the community to benefit for years to come.
